Product Description: Absorbs excess moisture from the environment. Retains less moisture. Does not produce odor. Antistatic, non-flammable. Lyocell fabric. What is Lyocell fabric? It is mainly produced from beech trees in Austria and neighboring countries. These beech trees are grown in completely renewable and sustainable forests. The solvents used in converting trees grown in sustainably managed forests into fiber are also fully recovered and reused, thus minimizing the environmental impact of production. Our Lyocell fibers offer unique physical properties, a high strength profile, effective moisture management, and softness. Shaped by the handiwork of women from Uşak at every stage of production, our special loom rugs woven with Lyocell offer a superior experience at every step, contributing to sustainability in living spaces. Produced from renewable wood, Lyocell Home cellulosic fibers bring the gentle spirit of nature into your home, providing a long-lasting comfort. Features include: a feeling of coolness and dryness, botanical origin, a gentle touch on the skin, and transparency in the supply chain. Areas of Use (Entrance Hall, Kitchen, Corridor, Living Room). Color Deviation: We do our best to minimize color deviations, but we ask for your understanding due to the following variables: Colors may vary in studio shots due to differences in lighting and angles. The actual product color may differ from the photos due to different screen resolutions on your mobile phone, computer, or tablet. The difference will be minimal. Thank you for your understanding. Size Difference: Due to variations in production and the type of yarn used, there may be differences of up to 5% in the width and length of the carpets you purchase. Since your carpet has been packaged for a long time, it may take some time to flatten and take the desired shape when laid out in the intended use area. General Use: Your carpet should not be shaken or beaten; it should be vacuumed with a brushless attachment. If there are tables, chairs, etc. placed on the carpet, their positions should be changed occasionally to prevent marks, and the areas in contact should be vacuumed with a brushless attachment. Shedding of fibers is normal because your carpet is made of natural materials. Why is fiber shedding normal in carpets made with natural materials? (Natural fibers have limited and varying lengths. To equalize their lengths after weaving, the yarns undergo cutting/trimming processes. Shedding, also known as pile shedding, is the shedding of excess fibers that are too short to be twisted, from the carpet with use. This is normal and unavoidable in products woven with natural yarn. With regular vacuuming, pile shedding will quickly decrease to almost nothing.) Stain Removal: If something spills on your carpet, you should act very quickly. Wiping should be done gently so as not to spread the stain; avoid circular or harsh scrubbing against the direction of the pile. Why should I wipe the carpet in the direction of the pile? Natural yarns are made up of twisted very fine fibers. Harsh circular wiping or excessive pressure during cleaning can untwist these fibers. Since the untwisted fibers lose their upright strength, the crushed fibers can intertwine, leading to what is commonly called (felting). Because the untwisted fibers will lie in different directions, they can reflect light from different angles. These light reflections can also be interpreted by the consumer as color loss/difference. To avoid these results, you should follow the instructions above when cleaning your carpet. Do not step on the cleaned area until it is completely dry. Dealing with tea and coffee spills: When liquids with a high dye content (tea, coffee, fruit juice, etc.) are spilled, the following steps should be applied quickly and correctly. First, before the liquid spreads, blot the excess liquid with a paper towel. Absolutely avoid harsh back-and-forth rubbing movements. Only apply pressure to the carpet to absorb the liquid. Hold the stained area under running water for at least 1-2 minutes to remove the spilled liquid from the carpet. Be careful not to let the running water spread to unstained areas of the carpet. Once the spilled liquid is completely removed from the carpet, wash only the stained area using a sponge or soft cloth and natural white soap that does not contain chemicals. Avoid harsh rubbing that may damage the fiber structure. Rinse the stained area again under running water for at least 2-3 minutes until the soap is completely removed from the carpet. After rinsing, the excess water should be removed from the carpet by hand, with the fibers lying in the direction of the pile. The carpet should be laid flat in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not step on the carpet until it is completely dry. For deep cleaning, you should seek assistance from professional carpet cleaning centers specializing in hand-woven carpet cleaning. It should be emphasized to the cleaning center that your carpet is made of natural materials and that harsh chemical cleaners containing Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) should absolutely not be used during washing. The cleaning company should be warned not to use harsh brushes and equipment during washing and to ensure the carpet is completely free of any cleaning materials used. After cleaning, the carpet should be dried quickly by laying it flat on the floor, not hanging it. The carpet should not be used while wet and should be protected from direct sunlight.
