It is mainly produced from beech trees in Austria and neighboring countries. These beech trees are grown in completely renewable and sustainable forests. The solvents used in converting trees grown in sustainable forests into fiber are also fully recovered and reused, thus minimizing the environmental impact of production. Our Lyocell fibers offer unique physical properties, a high strength profile, effective moisture management, and softness. Shaped by the handiwork of women from Uşak at every stage of production, our special loom rugs woven with Lyocell offer a superior experience at every step, while contributing to sustainability in living spaces. Produced from renewable wood, Lyocell Home cellulosic fibers bring the gentle spirit of nature into your home, providing a long-lasting comfort. Color Deviation: We do our best to minimize color deviation, but we ask for your understanding due to the following variables: ; Colors may vary in studio shots due to differences in light and angle. ; The color of the photos may differ from the actual product color because the screen resolutions of your mobile phone, computer or tablet are different. The difference will be minimal. Thank you for your understanding. ; Size Difference: Due to the variety of yarns used in production, there may be a difference of up to 5% in the width and length of the rugs you purchase. ; Since your rug has been packaged for a long time, it may take some time for it to flatten and take the desired shape when laid in the usage area. ; General Use: Your rug should not be shaken or beaten; it should be vacuumed with the brushless attachment of a vacuum cleaner. ; Tables, armchairs, etc. placed on your rug... If there are any objects on the rug, their positions should be changed periodically to prevent marks, and the areas in contact should be vacuumed with the brushless attachment of a vacuum cleaner. Shedding of fibers is normal because your rug is made of natural materials. Why is fiber shedding normal in rugs made of natural materials? (Natural fibers have limited and varying lengths. After weaving, the yarns undergo cutting/shaving processes to equalize their lengths. The condition called fiber shedding is the expulsion of excess fibers that are too short to be twisted from the rug with use. This is a normal and unavoidable situation in products woven with natural yarn. With regular vacuuming, fiber shedding will decrease to almost nothing in a short time.) Stain Removal: If something spills on your rug, you should act very quickly. Wiping should be done in a way that does not spread the stain; avoid circular or harsh scrubbing against the direction of the pile. Why should I wipe the rug in the direction of the pile? Natural yarns are made of twisted very fine fibers. Circular, harsh wiping or excessively high-pressure scrubbing during cleaning can unravel these fibers. Since the unraveled fibers lose their upright strength, the crushed fibers can intertwine, leading to what is commonly known as felting. Because the unraveled fibers will lie in different directions, they can reflect light from different angles. These light reflections can be interpreted by the consumer as color loss/difference. To avoid these results, you should follow the instructions above when cleaning your carpet. ; Do not step on the cleaned area until it is completely dry. ; Dealing with tea and coffee spills. When liquids with a high dye content (tea, coffee, fruit juice, etc.) are spilled, the following steps should be applied quickly and correctly: ; First, blot the excess liquid with a paper towel before it spreads. Absolutely avoid harsh back-and-forth scrubbing. Only apply pressure to the carpet to absorb the liquid. ; Hold the stained area under running water for at least 1-2 minutes to allow the spilled liquid to drain from the carpet. Care should be taken to prevent the spilled water from spreading to unstained areas of the carpet. Once the spilled liquid has completely evaporated from the carpet, only the stained area should be washed using a sponge or soft cloth and natural white soap that does not contain chemicals. Avoid harsh scrubbing that could damage the fiber structure. Rinse the stained area again under running water for at least 2-3 minutes until the soap is completely removed from the carpet. After rinsing, the excess water should be removed from the carpet by hand, with the fibers lying in the direction of the pile. The carpet should be laid flat in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to dry. Do not step on the cleaned area until it is completely dry. For deep cleaning, you should seek assistance from carpet cleaning centers specializing in hand-woven carpet cleaning. It should be emphasized to the cleaning center that your carpet is made of natural materials and that harsh chemical cleaners containing Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) should absolutely not be used during washing. The cleaning company should be warned that harsh brushes and equipment should not be used during the cleaning process, and that the carpet must be completely rinsed with cleaning materials. After cleaning, the carpet should be dried quickly by laying it flat on the floor, not hanging it. The carpet should not be used while wet and should be protected from direct sunlight.
