Features: Washable | Material: Bamboo | Production Method: Handwoven | Backing: Woven Backing | Pile Height: Medium (6 - 12 mm) | Theme / Style: Classic | Color: Red | Shape: Rectangular || This special loom rug, shaped with intensive handwork, using only machine power to reinforce the rug loops, and produced with bamboo viscose yarn, will bring a nostalgic touch to your decorations, reminiscent of classic rugs from the history of rugs. Due to the natural yarn used in its production, it is also a highly preferable rug for health reasons. Instructions for Use: Do not shake or beat your rug; vacuum it with the brushless attachment of a vacuum cleaner. If there are tables, armchairs, etc. placed on the rug, their positions should be changed occasionally to prevent marks, and the areas in contact should be vacuumed with the brushless attachment of a vacuum cleaner. It is normal for your rug to shed some fibers initially, as it is made with natural yarn. With regular vacuuming, this will decrease to almost nothing in a short time. Why is shedding common in carpets made with natural materials? Natural yarns like viscose, wool, and floss are made from the twisting of very fine fibers. The lengths of natural fibers are limited and vary. To equalize their lengths after weaving, the yarns undergo cutting/trimming processes. Shedding, as it's called, is the shedding of excess yarns that are too short to be twisted, from the carpet with use. This is a normal and unavoidable situation in products woven with natural yarn. With regular vacuuming, shedding will quickly decrease to almost nothing. Stain Removal: If something spills on your carpet, you should act very quickly. In such cases, first, before the liquid spreads, use paper towels to blot up the excess liquid; absolutely do not use cleaning agents containing bleach (such as laundry bleach). After blotting, wipe the spilled area with cold water and natural soap. Wiping should be done gently with a soft, white cloth in the direction of the pile, without spreading the stain; avoid circular or harsh scrubbing against the direction of the pile. Why should I wipe the carpet in the direction of the pile? Natural yarns like viscose, wool, and floss are made from twisted very fine fibers. Circular, harsh wiping or excessively high-pressure scrubbing during cleaning can untwist these fibers. When the fibers lose their upright strength, the crushed fibers can intertwine, leading to what is commonly known as "felting." Because the untwisted fibers will lie in different directions, they can reflect light from different angles. These light reflections can be interpreted by consumers as color loss/difference. To avoid these results, you should follow the instructions above when cleaning your carpet. Do not step on the cleaned area until it is completely dry. Deep Cleaning: For deep cleaning of your carpet, you should seek support from professional carpet cleaning centers specializing in hand-woven carpet cleaning. It should be emphasized to the cleaning center that your carpet is made of natural materials and that harsh chemical cleaners containing Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) should absolutely not be used during washing. The cleaning company should be warned that harsh brushes and tools should not be used during washing and that the carpet must be completely free of any cleaning materials used. After cleaning, your rug should be dried quickly by laying it flat on the floor, not by hanging it up. It should not be used while wet and should be protected from direct sunlight.
