Story: The Bakhtiari carpet, originating from the highlands of the Zagros Mountains, transforms the home into a small garden with its "garden" arrangement (shah's garden): each panel represents a different season, each flower and cypress a new intention. The pomegranate reds, indigo blues, and earthy greens of madder dye deepen against the sturdy wool. The master weaver's rhythmic knots flow along borders reminiscent of waterways; the rug becomes an Anatolian gateway, bringing abundance, resilience, and tranquility to the home.
